Careers

We are training the next group of advisors

Not to be copies of us. To be good people who know how to help other people financially, so this firm can serve more families than it does today.

Why here

A firm whose next chapter is people

We are building the future of this practice so it can serve more families, which changes what a career here looks like.

We are building for the long run

A summer internship turned into a decision. We started building the future of this firm so it can reach more families. That means real career paths, not a holding pattern.

You work with clients while you learn

Our younger advisors are already helping clients, inside a practice that has served clients since 1998. You learn the work by doing the work.

We hire for character first

We take good people who want to help people, and we teach them to do that financially. The technical skills are learnable. The instinct to care usually is not.

We invest real time in you

Mentorship here is not a calendar invite. It is being in the room, in front of clients, learning from people who have done this work for years.

Who we are looking for

People who would rather be useful than impressive

  • You genuinely like people and you are curious about their lives, not just their accounts.
  • You want to learn the technical craft properly, including the parts that are slow.
  • You are comfortable being the person a client calls on a hard day.
  • You are interested in retirement, estate, and business owner planning.
  • You are near Roanoke or Harrisonburg, or willing to be.

If the description above sounds like you, write to us and say so. Our current interns are students at Liberty University and Virginia Tech.

Offices in Roanoke and Botetourt and Harrisonburg and Myrtle Beach, Virginia.
