Who we are

Relationship, expertise and service. In that order, on purpose.

We built a firm around the idea that clients should feel like family and be helped to plan their best life. The financial work is how we do that, not why.

Our story

It started with two words on a license plate

Twenty-five years or so ago, someone here ordered specialty plates that read LIVE LIFE. It has stayed in the mix ever since, because helping people work out what a good life looks like for them turned out to be the job.

Since 1998 the practice has helped clients protect assets and plan retirements they enjoy. The question a lot of people bring us is a simple one. Can I retire, and what happens after I do?

We serve mostly retirees and people who are close to it. We also do exit planning work and company retirement plans, so we are not confined to one lane. But the center of gravity is retirement, and the reason people stay is that they get a partner rather than a service.

Everyone on our team volunteers or serves in some way. That is not a policy, it is just who they are, and it shows up in how clients get treated.

Our tagline

Three words we chose the order of carefully

We created this tagline years ago, and the relationship went first for a reason.

Relationship

Clients get people who know their situation and take their call. It comes first in the tagline for a reason: it is the part clients tell us they value most.

Expertise

CEPA and CFP credentials on the team, plus estate planning and tax software we use in the work. Clients get people who know what they are doing.

Service

If a client needs something, we want to be able to give it to them. That creates work. It is also the entire point of the practice.

What shapes how we work

Our faith is not a marketing line. Clients see it in how they are treated.

Clients tend to notice it without being told. It shapes how this team treats people, and we are not going to hide it. You will get the same care whether or not you share it.

Compassion is the operating instruction

When Michelle was hired, the brief was simple: a big part of your job is taking care of the client. If they need someone to talk to, that is a priority.

We walk through the hard parts

Death, sickness, divorce. Our clients call us for those, and we show up. Our team will be there for you and your family.

Stewardship, not just accumulation

Generosity, legacy, and what you want your resources to serve are planning decisions. If that is your language, you will not have to translate here.

Where we are going

We are building this firm to serve more people

A summer internship turned into a decision. We started training the next group of advisors, so this practice can serve more families the way it always has.

The goal is not to produce copies of ourselves. It is to take good people who want to help other people, teach them to do that work well financially, and reach more families as a result.

Our younger advisors are already working with clients while they learn, inside a practice that has served clients since 1998.
